Update: Monday, 11/19, 8:45am.

Friends: We are all concerned with the tragic circumstances surrounding the fires in California and its effects on air quality throughout the Bay Area. With the current forecast, we are moving forward with preparations and are optimistic for healthy conditions by race day. “It won’t be an instantaneous clearing, but it will gradually clear as the winds pick up,” said Steven Anderson, a National Weather Service meteorologist. “By Wednesday, when the main rain comes through, any remaining particulates in the air will be gone.” Visit Spare the Air Forecast here and we’ll see you on Tuesday for our Launch Party & Packet Pick Up (RSVP).
